A beast of a spinner! Great weight to it, which gives a very desirable gyro feedback when tilting it on the axis. Reminiscent of the Deltacore, at a fraction of the price. Great finish on the spinner as well, mine came balanced with no hotspots. Can’t really ask for much more than that! It’s great for my larger than average hands, just to give you an idea my pointer finger is too big to fit between the arms comfortably, have to wedge it in at an angle, not saying that is bad. I like to flick spin this so it works out perfect. I also like to rest my ring finger tip right in one of the flats to give easy pushes on the arms, very pleasing sensation. Overall this is a fantastic spinner at a fantastic price and I feel you get way more than what you pay for. 5 stars Joshua and spinetic/legacy team! Good job!

Genome is the next evolution of Legacy’s Redux tri spinner. This one has substantially more heft to it, and a more solid feel overall, while still avoiding being too heavy. Some of the design was crowdsourced in the Legacy Facebook group, so it was nice to have been able to contribute to that process. One of the outcomes was the rounded finger grooves between arms, which adds to the fidgetability.

The new buttons are slightly taller than previous Legacy buttons, and the added ridges provide a solid grip. The edge knurling adds a somewhat industrial flair to it, but doesn’t detract from the overall design. I tried both button sets in a variety of spinners & each fit without any issues. I was surprised to see that there were no spacer washers included though, which I thought was part of the UniFit system.

There are no trit slots, but the arm wells are screaming for some glow powder 🙂

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this. As with previous Legacy spinners, each one seems to be better than the last. Hopefully, Andrew will continue designing more spinners to be released by Spinetic.

Thank you John for the review! The ones that are installed on the Genome should have the washers already installed. Glad you are enjoying the spinner though, it’s one of our new favorites.
