The S Class SS10 Shielded is a 10-ball, all-stainless-steel R188 bearing designed as a dependable replacement or everyday spinner bearing.
Its shielded construction and low-feedback character give it a quieter, smoother feel than many more lively ceramic bearing configurations. It’s a good choice for anyone looking for a straightforward R188 bearing without a lot of vibration or bearing noise.
Each pack includes 3 bearings, making it easy to keep replacements on hand or use the same bearing across multiple spinners.

Test-fit the bearing before installation. R188 bearing pockets and retention systems can vary between spinner designs, so never force a bearing into a pocket that feels unusually tight.
Make sure the bearing seat is clean and free of debris or old adhesive before installing a new bearing. If your spinner requires adhesive to retain the bearing, use only a small amount and keep adhesive away from the bearing internals.
When removing a bearing, apply pressure as evenly as possible. A proper R188 bearing removal tool can make bearing swaps easier and reduce the chance of damaging the bearing or spinner.
Cleaning
If performance changes over time, contamination may be the cause. Dust, oils, and other debris can affect the sound and feel of an R188 bearing.
Bearing Notes: Sound, feedback, and bearing play can vary slightly between individual bearings and may feel different depending on the spinner in which they are installed. Spinetic’s characteristic ratings are intended as general comparisons within our bearing lineup, not precise mechanical measurements.
Bearings are mechanical wear items and may require periodic cleaning or maintenance. Always inspect and test-fit a bearing before installation.
